Privacy Policy
Pod Pips does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Everything stays on your device.
What the app stores
Game state — the player names you type, life totals, counters, settings, and layout — is saved in your device's local browser storage (IndexedDB) so a game survives closing the app. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us. You can erase it at any time via Settings → Clear data, by clearing the app's site data, or by uninstalling.
Network requests
When you search for a card or choose card art, your search text is sent directly from your device to Scryfall's public API to fetch card data and images. As with any web request, standard metadata (such as your IP address) reaches Scryfall and its image CDN; see Scryfall's privacy policy. We operate no server of our own that sees these requests.
The app's files are delivered by our hosting provider (Vercel), which keeps standard, short-lived server logs for operating the service. After the first load the app works offline; nothing about your games is ever uploaded.
What we don't do
- No analytics or crash reporting
- No advertising or ad SDKs
- No third-party trackers of any kind
- No sale or sharing of data — there is nothing to sell
Device features
The app may use vibration (for haptic feedback) and a screen wake lock (to keep the display on during a game). Both are optional, controlled in Settings, and operate entirely on-device.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address.
